Studio On Fire: Deeply Impressed

Gestalten takes us inside Studio On Fire

The latest short video from Gestalten TV‘s terrific series on creative people and projects features Ben Levitz of Minneapolis letterpress and design wizards Studio On Fire.

From their liberal use of neon inks to their innovative self-promotional tools, Studio On Fire continues to impress us with their cutting edge–yet entirely skillful–experiments in letterpress. Further peeks into their creative process can be found on their blog, Beast Pieces.

Watch the video over at Gestalten’s site for a look at Studio On Fire’s work and space, and see Levitz walk us through the process of a job, from imaging a polymer plate to printing it up on the Vandercook.
